This looks like one of the files may have been corrupted. Did you have a host crash before the issue started?
To troubleshoot further, I would need you to start the ACE player and when you get the error, run vm-support.vbs from the VMware Player/VMware Workstation installation folder, on the host where you have the ACE instance.
I sent you a private message with my email info to send the collected zip file to.
